->  아프리카 속담에 대한 이해... 사자들이 자신들의 역사가가 있을때까지... 사냥에 관한 이야기는 항상 사냥꾼을 미화할것이다..... 아, 사자들한테 역사가가 있다???  이 말은 사자들에 대한 역사를 정확하게 기록하고 기술할 수 있는 누군가가 있으면... 그럼, 사냥꾼들의 영웅담?을 딱 잘라 거부할 수 있겠군요?? .. 오오, 사냥꾼?? 사자를 확 잡았다고?? 그게 다가 아닐건데??  즉, their historians 는 사자들의 입장을 대변해줄 수 있는 존재라고까지 봐도 되겠군요.

그런데 그 다음에 Environmental journalists 가 이 역할을 해야 한다고 나오는군요? 아, 그러니까 사자의 입장을 대변하고 보호하듯이, 환경 저널리스트들(환경 관련된 글을 쓰는 기자 등)이 그 역할을 한다? 아, 그럼 이 사람들은 바로 환경을 보호하고 대변해야한다!!! 그럼 당연히! 사람들의 환경파괴 행태등을 고발하고 이를 방지하는 데도 한 역할을 해야하는 존재겠군요! (put across the point of view of the environment) 법을 만드는 사람들(국회의원 등)에게 어필해야 하는 군요. the voice of wild India 가 되어야 한다고도 나오는군요. 현재 인간의 소비행태를 꼬집는 부분도 나오네요. (completely unsustainable) 그리고, 이를 바꾸기 위한 내용도 보입니다.(But to ask for any change in human behaviour) 마지막으로 결론도 보이는군요. (It’s time we changed our thinking) 

결국, 환경(자연)을 보호하기 위해 인간이여, 자신의 행동을 지속가능한 환경을 위해 바꾸라!

-> 한 아프리카 속담이 있다 / ~라고 하는 / 사자들이 자신들의 역사가를 갖게 될 때까지 / 사냥에 관한 이야기는 / 항상 사냥꾼을 미화할 것이다 (라고 하는 속담)

-> 사자들한테 역사가들이 있을리가 없죠? 그러니, 당연히 사자들에 대한 사냥 이야기는 거의 영웅담급에 해당하는 것일 수 있겠군요. '내가 말이지, 집채만한 사자를 잡았는데 말이야...' 이런 식으로 말이죠.

-> 환경 이야기가 나온 만큼, '사자'는 '자연'을 뜻하고, 그 반대인 '사냥꾼'은 '자연을 훼손하는 인간'이 되는군요.

여러부~운, 우리의 환경, 다시 한 번 생각해보아효~~... 아무래도 안되겠군... 그럼, 아예 법을 만들도록 어필해야겠군.. 이렇게 말이죠.

아, 사자들의 역사가! 가 생각나는군요. 사자들 뿐이겠습니까! 자연을(환경을) 대표한 존재로 사자가 언급된 것이죠. 결국 자연, 자연을 보호하자!

-> 이정도는 개발해도 사실 상관 없어...... 이런 마인드.... 바꿔야 하지 않을까요?

-> 필자는 disposable 이라는 용어까지 썼습니다. 사실 이 용어는 '마음대로 쓸 수 있는' 이라는 뜻 외에도 '일회용의' 라는 정말 끔찍한 의미까지 담겨있거든요.... 자연을 일회용제품처럼 쓰다가 휙 버리는 사람들... 한 번 쓰고 버릴 것으로 생각하는 사람들.... 생각을 바꿔야 겠군요.

-> 와우, 환경에 대한 걱정 때문에 사람들에게 행동의 변화를 요구했더니.... 인권 침해랍니다....  

이렇게 말하는 사람들도 있죠. '이건 인간이 누릴 수 있는 권리라고! 이정도는 말이야! 이정도도 못하게 하면 사람이 어떻게 살라구! 이건 엄연히 인권침해야!' 라고 말이죠.

-> whether + 주어 + 동사원형 ~ : ~가 ~하든 간에 라는 부사절 입니다. 

접속사 whether 는 명사절 접속사 + 완전문 : ~인지 

                          부사절 접속사 + 완전문 : ~이든  

이렇게 사용됩니다.
