What’s more, expertise is domain specific. The expertise that we work hard to acquire in one domain will carry over only imperfectly to related ones, and not at all to unrelated ones. In the end, as much as we may want to become experts on everything in our lives, there simply isn’t enough time to do so. Even in areas where we could, it won’t necessarily be worth the effort. It’s clear that we should concentrate our own expertise on those domains of choice that are most common and/or important to our lives, and those we actively enjoy learning about and choosing from.

그럼, 비해당분야들(일반인들 포함)에게는 더더욱 전달이 안 될 것이군요.

-> not + 전체를 나타내는 표현(necessarily:반드시) -> 부분부정입니다. 

부분부정은 '전체가 다 그런 건 아니다' 라는 의미죠. 

따라서, 반드시 ~하는 것은 아니다 라고 해석합니다.

우리가 할 수 있는 분야에서도, 그것이 반드시 노력의 가치가 있는 것은 아닐 것이다.

-> 살면서 자신이 선택한 영역에 대한 전문성을 집중해서 키워라 라는 의미입니다.

-> 그리고 우리가 배우고 선택하는 것을 적극적으로 즐기는 것들에(선택 영역들에) 

-> 배웠을 때 즐거운 거, 골랐을 때 즐거움을 줄 수 있는 영역들에 전문성을 집중하라는 의미입니다.

-> those 는 앞문장의 those domains of choice 와 같은 자리입니다.
